Road infrastructure is a priority theme for Brazilian states and municipalities, as it directly interferes with the quality of life of citizens and the local economy. Recently, several states and municipalities, including Amazonas, Ceará, Paraná, Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul, announced investments for the maintenance, construction and rehabilitation of the road network and secondary roads and for drainage, pavement and road signs, among others . The state of São Paulo has announced a new highway concession lot.
According Guilherme Ramos, director of STO Fairs and Events, this release of resources will be important to reduce the deterioration of Brazilian roads and streets. “It is also an opportunity for the industry to present its equipment, products and technologies, which can raise the quality of road infrastructure in the country,” he says.
In this sense, the Paving Expo & Conference South America will be promoted from August 27 to 29 at the Expo Center Norte, whose objective is to provide an environment conducive for executives and professionals from companies that work in this segment, the highway concessionaires and representatives from different governmental spheres can see solutions and technologies, discuss the main issues that guide and interfere in the sector and promote relationships and business. “Our proposal is to have a new event model that will enable us to show practical results that meet the needs not only of those who work in the segment, but also the demands of Brazilian citizens,” explains Ramos.
